It's Christmas~!!
Friday, December 25, 2009 9:04 PM
All right, so before anything else, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!! :D Hope you managed to keep all your resolutions this year (I certainly didn't).

So now, the reason why this blog (and my facebook for that matter) has been dead for so long is after my self-banishment, we moved to our new house. And would you know it, it takes about a week for TMnet to transfer the Broadband to the new house.

Well, great. Just great.

And what was the reason to exile myself? I was entering a Wacom competition on deviantArt and decided to take time-off from the digital plane to work on my entries. No thanks to TMnet's outstanding performance, I missed the judging period. But it dosn't matter anyway. I didn't even make it into the semi-finals. Well, my Photoshop skills are still far from adequate.

So anyway, the past 2 months have been chaotic. Standing in either of the houses would give you the sense you were standing on the field of battle. Cartons and plastic bags were strewn everywhere, Wrong boxes were placed in the wrong rooms17 years' worth of rubbish was thrown out, my mom and I were slaving away to pack and unpack and what does my dad do?

"Hey, you forgot to pack this-and-that!" -puffs on ciggarette-

It ain't funny I tell you, it ain't funny.

Even worse, after everything was set up nice and proper, he starts stuffing HIS junk into, onto and under every available surface in the house (and that includes my room) regardless of how ugly it looks. You have no IDEA how much junk he can fit into our old apartment - it somehow was enough to fill up our new semi-D house (well, for the record, I have no idea either).

And not long after we moved in, we brought our new dog back home. :D

This was onw of the few things I managed to get my way (I sound so stuck up when I say that ^^; ). I got to choose his name and I named him Kiba (yeah, yeah, go ahead and call me whatever you want).

The only problem is - he barks. A lot. Even for a puppy. Worse still - he barks at night. The neighbours must hate us - then again, the nighbours have dogs too. Except theirs' don't bark at night.

Am still getting used to living in a landed property. I mean, you have to excuse me for this one - I've lived in an apartment my entire life. Now that I've moved, it's kinda of like that feeling you get when you experience culture shock. Lame comparision, I know.

And on the topic of Christmas, it just doesn't feel like Christmas to me this year. And for some unknown reason hidden deep in my subconciousness, that little fact really frustrates me. Maybe it's the absence of Jeanette's annual Christmas get-together/party. But she can't hold one this year as she's in the US of A visiting her sis even as I'm typing this.

Speaking of travelling, I'm following my mom to Korea this Sunday we'll on be coming back on midnight of January 23rd. Meaning I'll only get like a few hours of sleep then I'll have to haul my butt off to school and see you guys again. I think I'll just sleep in class. Hee, sleeping in class on my first day back xD

And also, sometime ago, my bro and sis came to visit. While my brother slaved away at the computer setup (sorry and thanks nii-san! ^^; ), my sis and I monopolized his Nintendo DS xD It was really fun - too bad I can't afford one. It'd take me 13 months of pocket money to save for that thing.

Maybe I could try my luck at Cash Converters. That is, if I can convince my mom to take me there.

Untitled (cause I want it that way)

Jeezus, what the hell are holidays for anyway if you can't sleep in and stay up late?

I have to wake at 7.30 tomorrow. AM. Doesn't help that my insomnia has gotten worse.

Hell, this sucks.

Heck, I'm not in a right state of mind right now (must have been the chocolate... muuu...) so I might just say something totally off and weird.

So, recently I saw a Tesco advertisement in the papers. A Back-to-school promotion. I just sat there and was like ... WTF?

Hell, how did the holidays pass by so fast??

Hell, what was so great about this year's holidays anyway? Or about the year itself for that matter? I've been sick throughout the holidays and now we're in the process of moving, it's been chaotic as hell.

And why is it no matter how much stuff I try to throw out, my shelves still don't look less cramped?!

Hell, this entire year wasn't so good for me.

Hell, why am I saying hell so much?

And why do I love the 'Enter' button so much?

Hell, something must be wrong with me.

I Simply Do Not Understand Myself Sometimes...
Sunday, November 29, 2009 10:09 PM
The people closest to us are usually the most alien to us. This is also true for yourself.

Well, see, the reason I exiled myself form the computer was to... Er, get started on and complete an... Assignment. Which I assigned myself to. That is, erm... Never mind.

The point is, whenever I was doing my... Work, I'd fidget thinking about Facebook and Gaia. The minute I was done with one of the assignments (which I assigned myself), I loog on to the internet. Even though I'm WAY behind schedule.

And now that I'm here, I'm thinking about my assignments (which I assigned to my - Oh, you get the idea).

And my deadline is tomorrow.

Well, crap.

I'm off!

I Bid Thee Farewell!
Thursday, November 26, 2009 7:38 PM
For those who read my blog (if there are any of you out there), I will not be updating..... Until Monday. But it shouldn't make a difference since I haven't updated much recently anyway. xD

Anyway, I will be on a self-imposed internet exle as soon as I've finished this post. Until Monday.

So yeah...

Adios!

DOG!!~ 8D
Sunday, November 15, 2009 7:52 PM
111th post!

Finally, I can get a dog!! :DDDDD

To be more precise, we just got one today!! 8DDD (I've always wanted a dog, but living in an apartment can be rather restricting in that way)

Actually, the house renovations are far from complete, and we can't bring the little guy home as we're still in the apartment, so he's still staying with the breeder for the time being. ]:

For those wondering, it's a German Shepherd. Yes, he's a puppy, but not for long - his dad's HUGE!! oo

How much was he? Well... 3.5 k...

Well, today my folks and I went over to Bangsar to check out this breeder who had put an advertisement in the Classifieds. So the first thing we saw was this great black gate and a sign with a dog's picture on it saying:

I can reach the gate in 2 seconds.
Can you?

Er, ok. Very reassuring for burglars.

And the guy opens the gate for us and beyond that at the back of the house is another gate. And behind that gate were two MONSTE - I mean, two German Shepherds. And they were big. I mean, BIG. They were up to my waist, ground to shoulder.

And they were barking. Well, that wasn't too much of a problem but my mom was scared. xD

Anyway, the guy took us through the office and into the back, where the kennels were. And in one of the enclosures were these two puppies. Yes, they were cute.

Nope, no pictures, sorry. But there will be soon! :D

There were 3 other females, but they all had been sold. Now the two remaining were males.

Well, all three of us liked this particular one - he had his ears all perked up and he was darker coloured than his brother. And bigger too. Oh, and more mischievous - he kept on torturing the garden hose. xD

And he seemed particularly fascinated by my watch - every time I approached him with my left hand, he gnaw on it. X.X (but my watch is still fine lol)

His brother was busy digging a hole in the corner. xD

My dad was a bit indecisive, and he said he would have to think about it first. So we went back home. But after a while, he made up his mind, called the breeder and BAM - the dog was ours! 8D

So we went back later to pay for him - the one we liked. :]

Well, it was quite a close call, because after we left and before we called to book him, another family came over and looked at the puppies too. The kid's mom actually wanted the one we wanted the one we wanted, but the kid was saying that he was 'too naughty' so they took the other one. XD

YEE - I wanna name him! But I don't think my dad would take to my suggestion very favouribly... My mom told me he was thinking of 'Ciku'.

Yes, the fruit.

Yes, I know.

There's completely NO RELATION between a dog and a fruit.

See why it should be I who names him? If my dad names him, we might end up with some weird name. Even my mom's supporting me (because obviously, neither of us want to have to call the poor guy some bizzarre name in public).

And training will also be done by my dad (he claimed he's trained dogs in past, so yeah). Poor guy, he doesn't know what's coming.

Naturally, I will be the one bathing him. 8D (lol, that's gonna be messy)

Now, let's hope he won't dig up the garden...

Transformers 2
Saturday, November 14, 2009 9:57 PM
Finally watched it yesterday (hee, behind time...). And I'm gonna ramble about it! :D

The special effects are completely awesome!!! 8DD (if I didn't already aspire to be a mangaka, I might have tried out CG animation)

Oh, and I'm still a fan of Bumblebee :] (all right, now my dream car is Camaro!)

And this, is my ultimate favourite scene from the movie:

Bumblebee: Your cheating heart~ ♪

And also, I'm gonna try and draw MECHA PEOPLE!! 8D (okay, that sounded retarded, even to me)

Now that I'm through, this post was actually a waste of your time, ne? >8DDDDDD

What's The Point of Going to School Anymore?
Thursday, November 12, 2009 8:12 PM
BLUNDER OF THE DAY: While saving a scanlation of a page from Gakuen Alice, I meant to type 'GA' for 'Gakuen Alice'. Instead, I somehow ended up typing 'NATSUME'. XD

So yeah, what's the point of going to school anymore? Now that exams are over?

There's no point.

Exactly (why does it feel like I'm answering myself?).

But for some reason, my dad wants me to go to school either TOMORROW or MONDAY. And why does he want me to? Well, give me some credit, I DID try to ask him.

"Oh, just go to school and see what news they announce for the holidays... -mumbles off-"

What?

Why the hell would the school announce anything about the holidays? Hell, what would they have to announce about, THERE'S NO SCHOOL DURING THE HOLIDAYS. That's why it's called 'holidays' in the first place. Got that? H-O-L-I-D-A-Y-S

Urgh, I bet I'll be the only idiot who turns up... Most likely he'll force me to go on Monday, not tomorrow...

Ok, that aside, I've been torturing my iPod recently. Like, REALLY torturing it. As in, I listen to it at night and fall asleep listening to it. So it keeps on playing right through the night until the next morning when I wake up and turn it off.

Why do I do that you ask?

Clue: I'm too much of a coward to stand the silence. All thanks to that.... that movie.

The Grudge.

Speaking of The Grudge, we went to watch ti again on Tuesday (or was it Monday? I forget...). At first when we went in, there were other people there. So we tried to watch their movie: Fast N Furious.

But something was wrong with the speakers, either the sound was too soft or there was no sound at all. So we thought it might be the disc, and Erique went and inserted another show.

The Grudge.

I hate you, Erique.

Naturally, again, being the coward I was I tried to run out. Oh, did I mention I was in the front row. AGAIN?!

Oh, and did I mention that there was this TITANIC MOUNTAIN SITTING IN MY WAY, BLOCKING MY ESCAPE ROUTE?!?!

No, guess I didn't. And yes, I am talking about YOU, HONG LE-ON (though you probably never will read this).

And said mountain would not move, even though I asked very NICELY (ok, not really, but that's besides the point, I was panicing).

And said mountain just grins away and says "No."

I tried hitting him. Agian. And again. But of course, you know what they say, the mountains will move for no man.

But somehow, in the end, I got out. I just ran to the door and exited like some deranged woman (actually, maybe I was).

I closed the door behind me, and everyone in the library was staring at me like I was a deranged woman (again, further proof).

I hate you, Le-On.

Good thing Benjamin wasn't there, or it would have been worse.

Hell, even Xiao Lin remained behind. Actually, I could hear them in the library: They were LAUGHING. I mean, they were watching a horror movie and they were LAUGHING.

Yup, I sure have classmates who have a couple of screws loose. Yup, the people of 4J are absolutely FANTASTIC!! 8D

Our succesors will have big shoes to fill. :]

School + Mall Outing
Friday, November 6, 2009 10:00 PM
Right, so the last few days at school have been pretty fun, played May Hui's Malaysian Edition Monopoly set. As usual, Friday morning was quite OK, then Erique came in and said we had to go to the library for 3rd period.

What for?

To watch a movie. Some Malay cartoon.

Hiz, lazy.... Never mind, IKUZO!!

So we got to the library...

And the movie playing was NOT some cartoon.

...... People who were there will know what I mean.

Erique, Mas and Benjamin... I will hate you forever. Especially you, BENJI.

So anyway, I was pretty much the only coward in the room who spent most of the movie hiding behind my hands or just laying down on the table. Other people were getting a kick out of scaring themselves shitless.

I don't get why people do that.

So anyway, went out to the mall today with Jeanette and Hui Min. From the Curve we walked over to Cineleisure to see what shows there were. I wanted to watch 'This Is It' but it was only shwoing at noon, and we were leaving at 2 or 3 pm, so no time. Ended up choosing Hui Min's choice, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

After buying our tickets, we just basically hung around since there was only like 15 minutes left for the movie to start. Then Hui Min started saying that her feet hurt because she was wearing new shoes. So she ended up taking off her shoes and walking around barefoot. Everyone was staring and I was laughing. XDDD

So we bought our popcorn and stuffs and went inside so she could just sit down. Then the first trailer that came on was... Alvin and the Chipmunks. xD Go watch the trailer! Damn funny!

The actual movie was quite OK. Steve was the best! :D

So after the movie, we ended up finding a stall that sold slippers and Hui Min bought a pair. Again, people were staring and I was laughing. xD

Now that she could walk, we went down to the anime shop. They were showing Bleach (it's always Bleach... Maybe the shop attendant is a Bleach maniac). Jeanette tried to look for that Japanese movie she wanted, Hui Min hung around watching Bleach and I hung around the CD rack looking for a Code Geass OSD. Which I found and bought (seriusly, OSDs are cheaper in Suncomic than AnimeTech - by RM 3 ok!). They only had two though, so I ended up chioosing the Character Song Best album (which was the one I wanted anyway).

But then I sawa Code Geass box sort of thing. The first season DVD and - A LELOUCH FIGURINE!! Half price, RM 25!!! 8DDD

Damn regret I didn't buy it. D': R-E-G-R-E-T

I dunno, I find Code Geass merchandise very hard to find (pun not intended).

Oh wait, I just realised something... I don't Suzaku's on this album... WHYYYY? D:

Okok, enough whining.

So after that, we went basically went to Vivo for lunch. Hui Min had to go home so it was just me and Jeanette. There was some sort of promotion in which we got a free fruit drink. we took the Bananarama - banana and orange. Don't take it guys, it's horrible stuff. All diluted and all.

Then Jean went to Starbucks to buy a coffee. She managed to convince me try some even though I hated coffee.

I guess it wasn't that bad... But only because there was more hazelnut flavour than mocha! (coffee... bleh)

Oh, and she lent me more Kyou Kara Maou! 8D And she got me a pouch from Japan! 8DDD We're planning to go out again sometime soon... In rather... unusual clothing. :]

Speaking of which, we saw a Miku cosplayer - it was only then I was told that there were a lot of cosplayers at Cineleisure, a little fact which I hadn't known.

Okays, going of to read Alice Academy now.

Yay and Nay + Memories
Wednesday, October 28, 2009 9:14 PM
Ugh, FINALLY got my blog layout to do what I wanted it to do. Spent 15 minutes looking for the damned place to edit my font colour (it was hot pink before, I doubt that would have went easy on your eyes).

So anyway, exams ended last week. It wasn't as good as the joyride last year but yeah, at least I don't have to spend all my time at my desk (pretending) to study.

Failed one subject so far (Moral) and passed Add Maths by a hair's width. Failed to get A in Science. I can kiss that chance of a new iPod goodbye.

Played Uno with some people today. And Snap. But teacher came in so we played Uno. Actually, she knew we were playing cards, but she didn't really bother. xD

The game ended - nobody won (LOL). We play until the bell rang. But let's just say on the last move, someone had to take 16 cards. But then Lay Samn came to take her cards back. If she hadn't, then it would have been real damn fun to see someone take 16 cards. :D

And by the way, I'm moving away.

Yeah, as in, I'm shifting out of my house and into a new one.

So it's been a good run you guys, I really loved you and all, but now it's time to say goodbye. I will treasure the times we had together, they were short but sweet... I am confident we will meet again.

Farewell....

.....

Gothca. :D

Well, to put it straight, I AM moving, but I'm going to SS2 (LOL, what place were you thinking of?). So I'm still going back to school next year . :D

Since we're moving real soon (if all goes according to plan, before Christmas), we're gonna have to start a little packing now. So today I went through some of my stuff to see what I could throw away. I decided to start with the shelf full of files first since that looked the messiest.

And I found my folder(s) of art rejects.

There were some that were bearable.

And there were some that made me want to destroy it and obliberate it from the face of the earth on the spot.

But try as I might, I just can't bring myself to throw them away. It's like throwing away a part of myself - I just couldn't do it.

So I set it aside with the intention of using it as rough paper. So maybe after I've used it, I'll just look at the side with the rough stuff and not the illustration itself and maybe, just maybe I'll find it in myself to throw it away.

Did you know that I still have my drawings and colourings from when I was 5 years old? Ok, you didn't. You do now. No, you can't see them. Over my dead body and disembodied soul.

And then I found the forbbiden - test papers. Look through... EEEAA!! Moral, FAIL! Quickly throw away! Before my dad see!!

B.M. , FAIL! Throw away!! Get rid of the evidence!

Sejarah activity sheet, never do! THROOOW~!!!

Geography, who cares about Geography?! I don't tak it anymore! THROOOOW~!!

ZOMGWTFHEARTATTACK ADD MATHS - PHAIL!! CAMPAAAAAAK!!! OO

English! Eighty-eight percent! KEEP! 8D

.... You get the idea.

So after I sorted out through my files (a lot of question and test papers thrown away in the process), I looked through some random pile of stuff. And I found loads of things from my primary school days.

All that nostalgia... One of my favourites is a kitten postcard. On our last day of Standard 6, one of my best friends gave it to me, with a message to be happy. :']

All of this stuff has inspired me to make a special space for all my stuff related to my memories, stuff like this.

But of course, I have to shift into my new room first. XD

"Ah."
Saturday, September 26, 2009 8:04 PM
So I had to wake up early this morning and lug myself to Tae Kwon Do. Don't they know it's a bloody CRIME to make people go to school during the holidays?!

So anyway, at least got some exercise. Came back home, shower, eat then sleep. Then when I woke up two hours later, I went, "... Ah. Damn. I can't move."

My bloody muscles were aching. -.-

Yeah, yeah, I'm a whiner, I know.

P.S. : Where the pie DO people find names for their characters anyway?! YOU NAME GENERATORS SUCK!
